Lund University School of Economics and Management and The Swedish Network for European Studies in Economics and Business in collaboration with Intelligence Watch are jointly organizing the conference Migration and the European Welfare States. The conference is devoted to discussing relationships between international migration and the European welfare states.

Call for papers

All proposals related to the main theme will be considered. Special topics of interest include the following:

- Refugee migration and the European labour markets

- Migration and welfare state universality

- The ethics of migration and migration restrictions

- Migration, trust and social networks

- Political attitudes towards immigration and/or the welfare state

- Migration, taxation and the shadow economy

- Migration and international trade

- Urban economy and city planning
